Reduce Stress, Feel More At Peace and Have More Energy with Color

How We Think Directs How We Act, How We Feel and Our Health

Our cognitive styles can strongly influence our perception of events in our lives and assigns emotional significance to those events. How we perceive, understand and think about situations and relationships in our lives can determine weather or not we are overwhelmed by life stresses to the degree that we begin to develop illness in our body.

When we become overly focused in the left brain with an analytical viewpoint of daily life we are out of balance and less aware. We can experience pain, judgement, the need to control, and a sense of separation and anxiety. THIS IS STRESS.

If we explore the functions of the right brain the symbolic synchronicity of daily events can be revealed or more clear to us. This can affect not only our consciousness but also our health as well because our heart becomes more open, we feel more connected to life and other people and feel a sense of meaning.

If we use both our left and right bright functions simultaneously we become more intuitive and have more of a sense of who we are and experience more joy in the moment.

In becoming more open to the symbolic spiritual dimension of life we develop a perspective that can coexist alongside our rational linear left brain view of the world.

We open a window through which we may glimpse the hidden perspective of our soul.

A right brain viewpoint can give positive meaning to negative life events that make sense only when the bigger picture of the soul’s perspective is truly understood. Specifically, a negative life experience that forces us to adapt and develop new coping strategies may actually be providing us with knowledge.

We can move through the shadows and stand in our light.

Chakras: The Colors of Our Being

Everything vibrates and is made of energy. This energetic vibration is the foundation of all life. All of our experiences, thoughts, and feelings are stored in our electromagnetic field and effect our vibration and energy pattern. Just like the anatomy of our physical body, the anatomy of our spiritual body is very organized and unable to be separated from our physical anatomy.

Each center is organized or structured to store and contain specific experiences as well as their mental and emotional energy. Each center has its own prime directive, purpose or view point.

We access and utilize the energy (thoughts, feelings, experiences) that are stored in each center to engage with each other and the world.

We interact with other people and our environment through our senses which are informed and directed by the energy body that has many view points.

Chakras can be thought of as programs which are lodged in our cells and direct our thoughts, belief systems, reactions and habits.

By becoming aware of our chakra programs and understanding their powerful influence we gain valuable insight into our thoughts, emotions, feelings and behavior. This insight empowers us to be more responsible and to take a more participatory role in the creative process of being who we are.

Color can be used diagnostically to identify and heal mental, emotional and energetic blocks that are hindering wellness and can be used as guiding lights to show you where you are in regard to your life purpose.

Color can also be used therapeutically to release the restriction of narrow mental habits and help us to be more flexible in our thinking.

Chakras and Meditation

By working with color through meditation and color imagery visualizations we can create opportunities for personal growth that helps to reprogram chakra content and release unfavorable aspects about ourselves, negative habits and thoughts that can cause illness and keep us from experiencing peace, health and joy in life.

Color Breathing

In essence color breathing uses the breath as a vehicle upon which the energy of color can be placed and movedthroughout the body to promote healing from within, as well as around the outside of the body, in the auric field, to form a protective barrier.

Color Imagery

Essentially, color imagery involves imagining color around the body. Color is inherently connected to our thoughts and feeling and can be used to elicit changes in our perspective which subsequently influences our emotions.  Each color has its own affect and can be utilized to bring about desired changes.

Each chakra color corresponds to specific thoughts, feelings and emotions.

For example:

whimsical-flower-daniela-cecille-fodorThe 4th chakra, the heart chakra, is interconnected to the color green which represents warmth and can give you the sense of freedom, harmony and peace in you body and soul.

The color green can help you to feel both compassion and empathy for yourself.

The color red gives you the ability to be aware of feeling comfortable and secure in your own body.

Red can be used to increase awareness and the ability to take advantage of opportunities, to feel more grounded, to have more energy to make changes, and to not engage in situations that do not benefit you.

Pick a color so that you can understand yourself on a deeper level.

When you pick a color that you are attracted to at this moment you are attracted to the vibration and the frequency that this color carries.

The change in frequency caused by the color that you chose can bring the changes that you need in your life. We choose a certain color because it is what our inner self is desiring.

With a little more understanding we have the ability to know what our goals are and what our purpose is here in this life.
